Karibu Café Project

The Karibu project brings together South American and Aztec influences specific to coffee culture with Japanese minimalism, creating a distinctive yet timeless space. The concept is built around a neutral palette, enriched with tones of brown, terracotta, and bronze, resulting in a warm and inviting atmosphere. Materials are chosen to support visual unity, with microcement applied to walls and floors, while textured plaster finishes on arches introduce subtle references to nature. The space is designed for both diversity and comfort, offering a mix of seating — tables, chairs, banquettes, and armchairs — organized around a multifunctional podium. This central element enhances both the spatial composition and flexibility of the café, allowing for events such as live music or stand-up performances. More intimate booth areas provide privacy, creating a comfortable setting for work, reading, or relaxation.
