Modern Heritage Project

The design concept was developed through a series of spatial artifices, visual tricks and a careful design of artificial lighting, so that light becomes an active element of interior architecture. The chosen lighting scenes, reflections and materials contribute to amplify the feeling of openness and to create a warm and balanced atmosphere, specific to contemporary interior design.

At the attic there are children's rooms and play areas, designed as flexible and adaptable spaces for family life. Compartmentalization was a major challenge, being conditioned by the existing layout and the restrictions of intervention on the walls, imposed by the status of old building in the protected area.

Modern Heritage is an interior design project realized by Omini Concept, interior design studio Iasi, which demonstrates how the limitations of a historical context can be transformed into opportunities through concept, detail and atmospheric control. The project reflects a careful balance between contemporary intervention and respect for existing architecture.
